With slots generating the bulk of casino profits, managers make it their business to keep players playing as long as possible. They often accomplish this by lowering what’s called the house edge. But this approach is a double-edged sword: If the house edge gets too low, the casino loses money. On the other hand, if the house edge is too high, players will walk away.<\/p>\n
