In a game of Poker, players will receive 5 cards from the dealer. Each player has two personal cards, and five others come from the community. The goal is to get the best possible hand by analyzing the cards on the table after the “flop.” The player may also draw replacement cards, usually during or after the betting round. This is the most common way to deal with a missing hand. Typically, a casino dealer has the same button position as the player on his left.<\/p>\n
A player in first-to-act position sits immediately to the left of the button and the big blind. This is considered his or her “bind” position. In case of a tie, the high-card-ranked player wins. Otherwise, a pair or two of the same card wins. A straight, on the other hand, is a five-card hand. Two players with a straight win. If both players have straights, then the player with the highest card wins.<\/p>\n
A pair of kings can win a hand. A straight consists of five cards, which may not be a wraparound. If a pair of aces is not a winning hand, a high pair is better than a low pair.
