The ante, on the other hand, is a small bet that a player can make before being dealt a hand. The ante is usually $1 or $5. The ante is usually the smallest bet that a player can make.

The ace of spades, also known as the poker ace, is the highest card of the deck. It is also the highest card in any hand. In some games, the ace may be treated as the lowest card.

A poker hand can consist of five cards. It may be five cards from the player’s hand or it may be five cards from the community cards. A straight is five cards of the same suit in sequential order.
